Cathy the light chain ratios are hard to understand. They can go up and down some too. I think they are more concerned with the pattern from month to month. All the best, Doloresđź«‚

Does Anyone Have An Autoimmune Disorder As Well As MM?

I am now in Active MM and it is escalating at an alarming rate. My light chain ratio went from 80% to 182% in 4 weeks. All the other numbers are also going crazy. I start chemo Tuesday. I will be on the following:
Daratumad, Velcade, and Cyclophosphamide. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are different translocations, some are high-risk, and others are not
For instance, translocation of 11/14 is one of the most common and more benign genetic translocations

What Is The Longest Time It Can Take To Start Responding To Daratumumab?

I just had my first follow-up for my Daratumumab treatment (based on bloods taken at 3/4 weeks and am disappointed that I haven’t started responding yet. I am in complete remission but the doctor is using the Dara to get me into MRD negativity. My light chains are still abnormal and at the levels of MGUS. Can anyone say that they took longer to start responding? I am extremely worried about drug resistant clones…

From what I’ve read, MGUS is usually the precursor of Multiple Myeloma. This is what was linked to mine.
