On first cycle of VRD. First Velcade injection went well. Alittle redness that went away in two days. My second injection caused brusing and a rash
I did some research and their is a bubble technique that is recommended for the syringe. This is suppose to lessen any injection site swelling. We tried it today. So far so good! I was surprised that the nurses were not aware of this technique

I was diagnosed in Sept 2020 with High Risk MM. I am in early stage without any bone problems. I am taking 10mg Revlimid every day. I am wondering what others are doing for maintenance. Thanks
I am close to 94 yrs and will start Velcade next week. Where is it injected and what are the side affects?
I hear it could cause heart issues and Dr says I will need to be monitored regularly with EKG to see if my base line changes. Is anyone currently taking this new drug?
New patient here with this treatment. Have bone aches and pains in my side and back and joints. Is this common?
Drugs treatment plan was Revlimid, Velcade, Dexaethasone. I stopped the Velcade once numbness and tingling got worse. I continue now with lower dose of Revlimid and Dexaethasone. The pain in my feet has gotten worse and have tried natural remedies but no relief. Dr prescribed Gabapentin and have taken now for a few weeks but was told it takes longer before I would notice if it’s helping. I was on my first cycle of Revlimid two weeks ago. Started on a Sunday to keep it easy. The following week on Monday I started to itch by my upper right leg and breast area, but didn't think too much about it. By Tuesday I actually looked at the area and oh my, rash from my underarm areas all the way down to the very top of my legs, only on the front though. Has anyone who is on Velcade and Dex and Xgeva experienced shortness of breath when climbing stairs or exerting ones self? Our doctor knows about this, and has recommended an Echo cardiogram, which we will do, but we're wondering if it's med related and not heart related.
