I have been using ice socks on my feet and leaving them on until the ice packs get warm and then repeat at least 3 times the couple days after my infusion day. I do not have any neuropathy. I got this… read more
I just learned that I have been getting the generic Velcade since the beginning of July. I noticed there was huge price difference on my bill, and called my hospital to see if they had made a mistake. Turns out that it indeed was the correct pricing! It dropped $4000! That might also be why I've been feeling different after my last few injections. A little more run down, weaker and slightly nauseous. 🤔 Funny no one informed me of this at the infusion center.
Hey @DonnaAndrews, that post was from a while ago. I know those two things are the same. My billing had always said bortezimib, but the pricing dropped significantly at that time. 💕
I've been on Darzalex Faspro/Revlimid/Dexemetesone for almost 2 years now. One year in we lowered the Rev dose from 25mg to 10mg. Myeloma numbers have continued to look good, so we are considering stopping the Rev altogether at the 2 year mark in April 2023. We will continue with the Darzalex shots and blood tests once a month and see what happens. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
Does anyone have belly bloat? This last month it’s gotten worse. Also I’ve been waking up to throwing up just water though. Not nauseous just waking up to it. Last night was bad. Threw out my pillow and had to shower at 3am. 🤷♀️😞
Proper use of digestive enzymes and probiotics can enable adults to maintain digestive health with less abdominal stress and greater retention of nutrients. Yes. Choose wisely.
I started to get sensitivity to a molar and gum surrounding it
one month after my first infusion. I have already had osteonecrosis from Xgeva which resulted in surgery. Will have to see a cancer dental surgeon this week.
I’m sorry for all those suffering with your teeth and jaw. That is a terrible pain to deal with all the time. Healing blessings!
I am close to 94 yrs and will start Velcade next week. Where is it injected and what are the side affects?
Drugs treatment plan was Revlimid, Velcade, Dexaethasone. I stopped the Velcade once numbness and tingling got worse. I continue now with lower dose of Revlimid and Dexaethasone. The pain in my feet has gotten worse and have tried natural remedies but no relief. Dr prescribed Gabapentin and have taken now for a few weeks but was told it takes longer before I would notice if it’s helping. Had some bad side effects so now taking Lyrica which seems to be helping to take the burning sensation away… read more
