I Am On No Treatments For MM However I Have Lab Tests Done Every 6 To 8 Weeks. If My Hemoglobin Level Is Below 7 My Primary Care Dr Orders
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

He orders transfusions. Usually when I go for the tests it is at 6.1 to 5.5 and I am super weak plus needing oxygen to function. I do not have an oncologist, he dismissed me as untreatable. Is there anyone else on here who is going this route?? How many times can I have trasfusions??

IgG And Kappa Light Chain Rising M Spike Stable
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is it common for a doctor to see that the kappa light chain is out of normal range and the IgG is raising and the M spike is stable? She’s keeping me on the same medication 4 mg of Ninlaro every Wednesday for three weeks and 21 days on 25 mg of Revlimid 4 mg of decamethazone on the Wednesdays that I take the in Ninlaeo?

I’m confused and perplexed.

Strange Docs
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I just had my first follow up after my SCT in November with my local oncologist. He just yelled at me because the nurse didn’t go through my med list one by one. She asked if anything changed. No. I stupidly asked doc if he really felt I should be taking 2400 calcium daily with D3 if my calcium is 10 already. He screamed at me there’s nothing here about your calcium pills. Final answer was ‘ it says you’re taking 200 a day’. No clue why his report said that, but he had no answer for me. He has… read more

Hi Vince, are you able to get access to your patient portal? It helped me to look up my labs so I could understand why they were too low or too high.
