Hi, my plasma cell numbers were high but not high enough to be diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Instead it was deemed smoldering, despite having some anemia. Now my anemia number is down to 9.6 and my red blood cell count is low too. It sounds like I am getting worse but no one seems to be panicking. Anyone understand anemia? Will iron help? More red meat?
I’m Anemic. Any suggestions on how to build my blood back to normal? My dr has me taking 3 Ferrosol pills a day, however, I was still Anemic, when I went to my last appointment.

When I have low iron I work on my nutrition. Same for my albumin and total protein scores.

I am now in Active MM and it is escalating at an alarming rate. My light chain ratio went from 80% to 182% in 4 weeks. All the other numbers are also going crazy. I start chemo Tuesday. I will be on the following:
Daratumad, Velcade, and Cyclophosphamide. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
