I get short of breath. Pomalyst and Darzalex can both cause it. I get a very heavy feeling at times. I notice it right after I restart my Pomalyst for the month.

Nbeth, that happens from time to time. I notice it mostly when I’m in pain. Or push it a bit. Kinda seems this disease reminds you to slow down a bit. I do think we have to push it to get stronger. This disease really takes a toll on the body and a lot of time to rebuild the damage it’s done. Have a great weekend!

Yes, many individuals with multiple myeloma experience shortness of breath, a condition also known as dyspnea. This can occur even with minimal physical exertion, such as during yoga classes. Shortness of breath in multiple myeloma can be due to various factors, including anemia, which is a common complication of the disease or its treatment. Anemia reduces the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood, which can make you feel like you're struggling to catch your breath. It's important to discuss these symptoms with your doctor, as they can help identify the cause and work with you to find the best ways of managing your symptoms. Additionally, practicing certain breathing exercises and managing your activities to avoid overexertion can help alleviate this symptom.
