I have a gain of 1q. which puts me at high risk.

Is 1q Gain (3 Copies) In My Case Is An Independent Prognostic Factor In Multiple Myeloma? Is It Considered High Risk With Poorer Prognosis.

Has Anyone Had To Increase From 3 Drug Treatment To 4 For First Round MM Treatment?

My husband was diagnosed in January and began a triple drug treatment of Dexamethosone, Revlimid and Isatuximab infusion in February.We are at the end of cycle 3, but his M protein decrease is slowing. Oncologist team has suggested adding weekly valcade shot to his treatment plan to get his number down to the threshold that they'd like for him to have a Stem Cell Transplant. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

What Treatment Options Have You Used For Relapsing MM?

Unfortunately, after my SCT in Dec 2022, the MM has relapsed. It only took 10 months before it started to show up in blood tests. I had a bone marrow biopsy and the plasma cell percentage has now doubled from the value when I was initially diagnosed. So I'm curious to know if others have relapsed after a SCT and what was the next method of treatment used
