I was diagnosed with MGUS in 2020 but I may have had it since 2011 or before. Last March 2023, I was diagnosed with Smoldering. I have IgA Kappa.

Not everyone advances to smoldering. I have heard the numbers but am not able to remember the details.

I depends on what type. Most cases of MGUS do not progress. I have a more high risk type, so I progressed to Smoldering.
