Does anyone actually believe that managing your multiple myeloma is just like managing hypertension or diabetes. For my husband there is a world of difference. Most of the problems with these are in direct relation to his myeloma. Why do doctors tell you this?

Is this site for all blood cancers, not just Multiple Myeloma? Is there a different section or page for other myelomas, such as Leukemia?I just did a search and saw this site is for myeloma, and only mentioned Multiple Myeloma once, so I'm assuming MM is just one.....

However, it has definitely became much more intense in the past 2 years. I now must use a walker as my balance is very poor. Also my fingers are numb feeling, I also get a tingling burning, itchy feelings in my hands and arms in the early morning. Any advice to relieve these feelings would be appreciated.
