Hi Brad,
I have IgA Kappa. My IgA is 568 mg/dL. The normal range is 76-426 mg/dL. So, you either have IgA Kappa or IgA Lambda. Kappa and Lambda have their own values. Kappa can clog the kidney filters. Your IgA number is only one number of many tests. CRAB (Calcium, Renal, Anemia, Bones) BCMA and M Protein all play a part in determining what Stage you are. I am in the Smoldering Stage. IgA myeloma is the second most common type of myeloma, affecting about 1 out of 5 people with the condition. The abnormal IgA proteins are called M protein (or monoclonal protein), and they don't fight infections like normal antibodies do.

What does 1450 mg/dL mean?
