Hi,
When I started at 25 mg with the chemo the combination caused an elevation in my liver enzymes with pain in liver area-PA that I saw didn't listen to me and said the pain was just getting used to treatment! Had to miss vacation and abstain from meds for a week. So speak up if something bothers you. It never happened again because they reduced the dose. For the past 4 years I have taken 5 mg. I had some issues with Diarrhea which I was told happens in some cases. Recently I was put on Colesevelam daily pills, it has worked miracles and I can eat what I want without worrying. Again speak up if you notice something. Best of luck!
Hi
I was on Revlimid for about 9 months, it gave me severe diarrhea every time I restart it. That was my side effects. My doctor took me off it..I'm not on any maitance drugs.
I will agree it is quite a process to get it. I didn't have any side effects from the Revlimid when I first started it 9 month ago, no upset stomach, tiredness, nothing. After they added the chemo the fatigue hit me mostly on chemo days and sometimes a day after. I take Revlimid 21 days on 7 off so now I can't say if just my Revlimid days make me more tired.
Hi. I started it about 8 days ago. I don’t feel much of a difference after taking it, but it does leave a coating or something in my mouth. Hard to explain. I’m at the start myself so I can’t really tell if it’s making me more tired than usual. My counts did go down some. Platelets are kinda low but I started out with severe anemia so….
Hi Warren, I can’t say I’ve had any noticeable side effects. However I’m on RVD, I do have some swelling in the feet which I believe is from the dexamethasone. And being exhausted some afternoons, from the Velcade. The Revlimid may cause tiredness as well, but nothing awful. I sure hope you do well on it👍 Keep us posted. I know the first time I took it I was hesitant but all is good. Have a great weekend!
