Michael I can walk 2-3 miles with no issues. I can walk a small incline for 20 yards and be out of breath. I can walk up a flight of stairs with no problems but if I add a bag of groceries I am totally out of breath.

Hi Michael. A pulmonologist can do tests to assess your need for portable oxygen. That way insurance will cover the costs.

Michael,
Have you checked your oxygen levels when you walk? Mine go down when I fly. I thought about getting a portable when I fly, but for some reason it has gotten better. A CT scan showed I had some parts of the lung, collapsed. I see a Cardiologist and Pulmonologist. Are they part of your team too? If not, you might want to get checked out. It’s very common to have lung issues with MM.

No they are not. Did you add them yourself or was it a recommendation from your Oncologist?
