I asked Claude.ai when unrestricted generics of Revlamid / lenalidomide could be developed. I was surprised to learn that as of now (March 2026), the volume restrictions have been lifted and generic manufacturers are legally permitted to sell unrestricted quantities of lenalidomide. Has anyone noticed a drop in how much they or their insurance companies pay for this?
Mine dropped but I went from 3 weeks on 1 week off to 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. From around $13,000 to $8000. Since I had previously read that they can be produced for 25 cents a capsule this is beyond absurd.

Good morning
My current problem has been my co-pay assist from BMS is for the Rx Revlimid. My monthly cost is 22,000.00. If Lenalidomide is prescribed I won't receive any co-pay assistance. I am pre-Medicare, and my insurance is really crappy.
I don't know how to obtain the medication for any less money. I've used all the co-pay assist money for the year already. Who can afford this medication? But who can afford not to take it? It is a real stressor.
Has anyone noticed a drop in costs for lenalidomide generics?
