@A MyMyelomaTeam Member,
I am IgA Kappa. What type do you have? My IgG and IgM are low. My Kappa is high.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member I am Kappa light chain with a t(11;14), 11q+, 14q- genetic abnormality. 11q gain typically has a worse outcome. My IgG, IgA, and IgM are all low. I get IVIG infusions every 4 weeks, to bring my IgG levels up.
Not having enough Kappa, and Lambda plasma cells to make the calculation means a deficiency in antibody production. Antibody production going lower and lower is not good. This means an increased susceptibility to infections or other health problems. Yup, things keep getting worse. My IgG antibodies were fine till I had COVID for the 2nd time. My IgA antibodies had been going lower and lower over the years. I get IgG antibodies infusions every 4 weeks, after my IgG antibodies levels went down. My IgM antibodies are also lower. It’s below measurable levels. They just show it as less than 20mg/dl. It used to be around 60 mg/dl, which is already low.
@A MyMyelomaTeam Member,
I didn’t realize this could happen! Those are low numbers, but close to normal range which is better than too high.

Being in continuous treatment for 8 years. My Kappa/Lamba ratio is becoming unmeasurable. It’s been this way for 2-3 months now.
