Hey Thomas, I am considered stage 3 high risk with aggressive Lambda light chains MM, was diagnosed in March '24 at age 67. I turned down the SCT because I wanted to keep working until 70. I am 69 now, asymptomatic and no side effects from maintenance. Good luck on your decision.

Best wishes tomorrow on your Bone Biopsy, Thomas! If you are in remission I would expect a better number than 70% there. Keep us up to date!

Yes, I have undergone 4 rounds plasma foreseeis, the velcade, dex, dara, and revlamid currently in remission says the doctors. Kappa 8.4 lamba 4.9 and kappa/lamba ratio serum 1.71. Still show a M spike of 0.1 in the Gamma globulin region. Im looking at a SCT still not sure i want to do that. Tomorrow I have a marrow biopsy. Im hoping this one has better results than my first. All I got out of the first was 70% myeloma.......

That sounds extremely high, what is your Kappa light chains? The ratio is very important. I began treatment when my Lambda light chains were around 2,300 they went down to normal in weeks as well as my ratio. Are you getting treatment?

I should have mentioned this was back in apirl. I also had abnormal protein at 178
Right now my light chains are normal and protein is a 0.1
Beta2 microg 4.57
All this still sounds like a foreign language.
