I have read a lot. I have read that after a certain amount of years of having SMM, it reacts later more like MGUS. However, everyone I have read about get MM anyway. What do you think?

I had oatmeal this morning and 2 boiled eggs. I usually just eat the white and not the yellow. Other mornings, avocado, tomatoes and scrambled eggs. I will continue to try to eat more vegetables and fruit.

I am not on a plant based diet but I did eliminate sugar and processed white foods from my diet and try to eat whole grains instead. All my numbers on my last test were the same or better than prior to this change except for my Kappa which continued to go up. I also feel a lot better than I have for the last couple years because I think this change in my diet reduced my inflammation which reduced my pain. So whether you do the clinic trial or not making healthy food choices can help your overall health.

National Cancer Institute (NCI) trial (NCT05640843): This study compares the effects of a plant-based diet, the same diet plus supplements (omega-3, curcumin, probiotics), and a control group in patients with MGUS or smoldering myeloma.

Gary is correct with the 20-2-20 test. You are 10-15 - ? - 35. The middle number is your protein levels. Don't want to be over 60 on the bone marrow that is when the usually say you are MM.

It was 35. 100 is the magic number that I don't want to reach.
