I cannot drink or take any caffeine like coffee tea chocolate…
I make exception with green tea and sour sop tea due to cancer killing properties.
Also I cannot eat hot dogs sausage bacon and lunchmeats and highly processed foods.
I do not drink alcohol and do not smoke cigarettes ever.
I mainly cook at home and avoid restaurants. Healthier foods can be cooked at home.

I was a stage 2/3 at diagnosis. I was told it goes by the #of CRAB symptoms but that was over 10 years ago. I was anemic, 60%MM on BMB, and several small lesions. Dr doesn’t like to stage but I insisted. So 10 years out from transplant and no signs of MM still!!

You're thinking of the older Durie-Salmon Staging System, which did consider X-rays and bone lesions in determining the stage of myeloma. However, since 2015, doctors now primarily use the Revised International Staging System (R-ISS), which doesn't look at bone lesions or fractures to determine staging. The current R-ISS staging system looks at different biological markers in your blood instead, including proteins like beta-2 microglobulin, albumin, and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). It also includes genetic testing of the myeloma cells. This system has proven to be more reliable in predicting disease progression and helping determine treatment options.
