Not everyone with myeloma experiences bone pain, but it is one of the most common symptoms. About 85% of people with myeloma develop bone lesions or bone loss, so it's very widespread β€” but not universal. When bone pain does occur, it can show up in many ways and places, including:

- Back, spine, hips, ribs, and skull
- Legs and feet
- Nerve pain from spinal cord compression
- Fractures that take longer to heal and cause lasting pain

If bone pain is something being experienced, it's really worth discussing with an oncologist β€” there are treatments and pain management strategies that can make a meaningful difference in daily life.
