Members discussed concerns about whether MMT has shifted toward AI-driven management, with many expressing disappointment over the loss of human ambassadors and a sense that the platform now feels more like a data collector. Several members shared that what they value most is the real human connection and personal experiences from fellow members, noting that peer advice on treatments and side effects has been far more helpful than automated responses. A recurring theme was a mix of hesitation about AI and privacy alongside deep appreciation for the community itself, with some members choosing to stay or return because the group feels like a supportive, friendly home.

Kathryn have you checked your timeline? This site has always been disorganized to me. I sometimes answer people and it shows up on their homepage or my home page. I have never been really certain at what is going on. I updated at one point that I have moved to Texas from Springfield MO and that has disappeared. I had never thought of using this as a way of remembering what I had going on or as a journal of my history. My history hasn't gone back that far though, just 3 years this month since pain started and I was stage 2 when diagnosed officially in January. Things would have been caught much earlier if my doctor had not been struggling with health issues himself causing me to see his PA. Anyhow we will miss you here. Like I said I never was here for the information so much as the members advice and stories of their struggles or successes. Before I found the site I was in despair of my possible future outcome. This site really helped with my outlook. I was also able to get answers to questions concerning side effects from different drugs or treatments and answers for them that you don't get from doctors. Take care and live well my friend!

The responses I have received have helped me tremendously. At this point, I don’t care about AI helping the Administrators.

No AI was not hidden, you're right, but we are the only human factors now; no ambassadors......the change from when I began disappoints me. It is simply a data collector now. To the positive point, we are the whole show and we can speak our minds about our MM lives, right.? I have known that are privacy is not....private, when they posted the new privacy policy and AI was installed, but no human ...other than us kind of creeps me out, frankly.
What I post now will most likely be deleted or it will be eliminated with my profile soon ( at the most, 10 days from today). This is just my opinion. If you don't care about AI taking over....you don't. It's your decision

Paula; the profile pictures are my changes. I couldn't make up my mind which to use. I don't really like the photo of myself. LOL
I heard from "My Health Team", and replied to them. They didn't find an account for me in 2019, just 2022. They said they would check any other users I've used before 2022, so I sent them two....I simply want to know if my bio can be restored or if I need to try to remember and start over. My bio was active in 2022, by the way. Anywaaayyy, I won't give up till I know what I have to ..do, and decide if communicating with our MM friends is more important than AI collecting every thing we post. This is not earth shaking but it's important to ME.

Dana; I agree with you about the administrators and us members being more important than them......especially now. I don't want to Try to start my profile bio, over from the beginning....again. Yeah, I'm hard headed about this, especially when our moderator is AI instead of real ambassadors. ....I saw that the site manager left a " like" yesterday, then his name disappeared. It's all so ..........weird to me.
I know there are other sites for MM but this feels like ...home, ya know?
