What a caring question to ask on behalf of your wife. Based on the available information about myeloma, there is no established direct connection between IgG lambda light chain myeloma and Alzheimer's disease.

The research around myeloma and other conditions has focused more on links with inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, not Alzheimer's. That said, it's absolutely worth raising this question with her medical team, particularly her hematologist and neurologist together, so they can:

- Review all her medications for any interactions
- Assess whether any myeloma-related factors (like high calcium levels or kidney function) could be affecting her cognition
- Coordinate her care plan holistically

High calcium levels (hypercalcemia), which can occur with myeloma, can sometimes cause confusion or cognitive symptoms — so it's always good to make sure those levels are being monitored closely.
