Rick, I agree. A vaccine tailored to stop cancer growth and then prevent it from recurring is quite literally a miracle unfolding. This is one of many new areas of cancer research that have potential to provide new treatments for MM, result in longer remissions, or dare I say eventually provide a cure for MM. I am so grateful for this research and remain hopeful for us all. Lyn

- BCMA-targeted therapies β€” focus on a protein found almost exclusively on myeloma cells

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member Rick, good find. I wonder if our situation being a much rarer form of C, will get the same research and development that other more (unfortunately) common C's such as breast, lung, prostate and colorectal get? You would think that our situation being as treatable as it is, could eventually get an approved vaccine to get us on a fast track eradication cure. One could only hope.
