Denise, myeloma does not go to stage 4. Only to 3B. So please get a second opinion from a myeloma specialist. I hope after paying all that money, the dietitian gave you a list of foods for a renal diet? I'm also hoping you can talk to someone about the abusive relationship. Myeloma is very treatable, even when diagnosed late. So, do you chose not to get treatments? I am concerned that you are not in a good place to make decisions for yourself. I'm hoping you can find a compassionate doctor to help you make appropriate decisions to help you move forward and to heal mentally and physically.
Denise,
My first question is, are you seeing a MM Specialist? Most Oncologists are not. There are members on this site who had 80-90% MM and kidney involvement, and were treated and survived. If that is not the problem, I would recommend contacting a Renal dietitian, or a Naturopath and Palliative Care, which is not Hospice and can help you with pain management. You can still have treatments with Palliative Care. My other advice is, if you can afford it, get a caregiver, who can help you. All your energy should be going towards living the best you can everyday. Being a religious person, I would also say, pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. The image of Divine Mercy is one of my favorites. Jesus just looks out at us with so much love. Paradise awaits those who believe. Call a Priest or your Minister for the Sacrament of the Sick. Get as many blessings as you can.
May your soul be filled with peace and love for God.
Trust in Him. The Divine Mercy Chaplet repeats, “Jesus I Trust in You.”

Denise( I’m very sorry for your life challenges & this disease. Be sure you have an oncologist & hematologist for your care. It is a frightening place to be. You deserve to have the best most informed care. Give that to yourself. With this disease many people have been given those odds yet survived many years with treatment. I’m sending you many prayers for Divine Grace Love & Healing🥰

Denise,
For some MM patients who are fragile, they don’t give them the regular protocol or treatments. They give them something less toxic. This is why a MM Specialist is so important. Your new treatments should probably be administered at a hospital, to make sure you tolerate them. I have a heart condition. I could never take strong drugs.

Hi you are strong if you survived abuse. Glad they left so you can focus on getting well.
Myeloma is not a death sentence.
Get to the City of Hope, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson , you need an MM hematologist/oncologist.
You WILL be treated!
You WILL get better!
You WILL be with us in 4 months.
I will add you to my prayer list.
Stay on this forum and check in so we know how you are!!!!!
