I was concerned about my memory issues so I went to go thru a cognitive testing to put my mind at ease. My dad lost his mind as did all his siblings. That heavens- it’s chemo brain but I do word searches & puzzles to keep my mind sharp. But I still draw blanks at times but it helps that I don’t panic which only makes it worst.

It’s a known issue that being on MM treatment can cause forgetfulness and brain fog. I’ve documented my own struggles with this side effect in a post on here. That leads to one thinking they’re in rapid mental decline. I’ve recently taken a medication holiday and I can assure you that once off the drugs your mental acuity comes back.

Turns out I had to take him to the ER and he has a tumor and fluid on the brain and pushing on his brain

Call in the calvary - reach out to your husband's care team and ask for help. If there is someone who can come be with you - friend or family - reach out. Phone calls are good too.
