Drinking pure water helps hydrate your skin. Sarna lotion in an anti-it h lotion. I actually use Gold Bond diabetic lotion. It’s super thick.

Itchy skin and neuropathy can both show up as part of the myeloma experience, and while they're separate issues, they can definitely overlap and affect quality of life at the same time.

Itchy skin and neuropathy can both show up as part of the myeloma experience, and while they're separate issues, they can definitely overlap and affect quality of life at the same time.

Itching in myeloma can be caused by several things, including:

- The myeloma itself (in about 1% of people)
- Treatment medications like lenalidomide, bortezomib, or corticosteroids
- Radiation therapy
- Kidney complications, which can cause a condition called uremic pruritus — persistent itching that often worsens at night Managing itchy skin may involve a combination of approaches:

- Over-the-counter anti-itch creams or antihistamines like Benadryl
- Prescription steroid creams for more stubborn itching
- Avoiding heat, which can make itching worse
- Talking to your care team about adjusting medications if a treatment is the likely cause

It's really worth bringing both the itching and neuropathy symptoms up with your oncologist or hematologist together, so they can look at the full picture and find the best path forward for you.
