Members responded to the question about arm numbness by sharing a wide range of personal experiences, from tingling fingers and heavy arms to severe sensations described as frostbite or pins and needles. Several members shared coping strategies including massaging the collarbone and shoulders, using a heating pad, adjusting sleep positions, and taking supplements like super B complex and alpha lipoic acid, with one member noting their doctor at Emory recommended those supplements. A recurring theme was that neuropathy from treatments is a likely cause, and many encouraged checking with a doctor, with gabapentin mentioned as one option that helps manage symptoms even if it does not solve the problem.

I do get that tingling sensation in both arms if they are positioned higher like on the arms of a couch and once I lower them it goes away. Very strange but from the other responses I would guess neuropathy caused by the meds. Guess there is bound to be some residual effects. Hang in there!

Sometimes it is from sleeping the wrong way. I found massaging my collar bone and shoulders got rid of it. MM is possible too. Check with your doctor.

Both feet feel like l have frostbite. I put a heating pad on the floor near my chair and rest them there each morning.
