Sorry to hear doctors are making like your issues are in your head
I find this extremely frustrating
I feel these doctors do this instead of putting the effort into figuring out what is truly going on
I have had my fair share of these doctors. Please, continue to search for better quality doctors. They do exsist

I’m just seeing these messages. My doctors try to make it seem like it’s stuff in my head or that they don’t know where it’s coming from or that one side won’t bother me more than the other. I do get some good information from American Cancer Association when I call them. They take the time and listen to you and look up stuff. Depending on the type of insurance you have will determine your care. It shouldn’t be like that but it is.

I sometimes have low vitamin D and B12 & that’s with taking both of them. When I ask about my hip pain & one side being higher than the other side I’m told that it’s normal. They said that I have a lot of arthritis in my lower back and that some of the pain can be coming from scoliosis. I keep inflammation.

Rita and Lionel,
I think everyone with MM has back pain. MM is constantly breaking down the bones, so of course it’s going to start hurting. Always talk to a MM Specialist about your back pain, not your Primary doctor. I am only Smoldering and my pelvis is deteriorating. I also have severe osteoporosis, which may be caused by the SMM. I take supplements to counter the bone breakdown. Calcium & Magnesium (MRM Bone Maximizer III) seems to work for me, with extra D3 and K2. I also take Vitamin C, A and E complex. It’s been working for me for 6 years. I avoid salty foods, carbonation, caffeine, because these foods or drinks cause calcium to leave the body. Hope this helps.

Am I glad I joined this group!!! I have been experiencing back pain, hip pain, shoulder pain and sciatica pain since I was diagnosed with MM. I have mentioned to several doctors that it’s due to my MM. guess what? None of them agreed with me.
I’m currently having back pain and had a MRI done yesterday. So thanks 🙏🏼 so much for this information. I’ll see what they say when I give them this information
