The p53 gene (specifically TP53) is a critical tumor suppressor gene, often called the "guardian of the genome," that prevents cancer by repairing damaged DNA or inducing cell death (apoptosis) in damaged cells. Mutations in p53 are found in over 50% of all human cancers, leading to uncontrollable cell growth and tumor formation.Key Aspects of the p53 Gene:Function: Located in the nucleus, the p53 protein acts as a transcription factor, bindingโ€ฆ read more

-thyroid issues are linked to iodine deficiency & iodine deficiency is due to fluoride, aluminum, SLS, parabens, chlorine & sulfates!
These also affect our babiesโ€™ development:
baby teeth that donโ€™t fall out, mouth breathing, and crooked teeth.
Your body has something called p53 known as the โ€œguardian of your cells.โ€
Its job is to detect damaged or abnormal cells and either repair themโ€ฆ or signal them to break down and be removed.
Many damaged or diseased cells disrupt or avoid p53, which allows them to survive longer than they should.
Iodine has been studied for its ability to support healthy cellular turnover & apoptosis (natural cell breakdown) including pathways that work alongside of p53.
Meaning iodine doesnโ€™t just support hormonesโ€ฆ it supports how your body handles damaged cells at a deeper level.
Earlier signs of iodine deficiency may be:
โ€ข Weight gain: because thyroid hormones help control the speed of your metabolism
โ€ข Fatigue and weakness: nearly 80% of with low thyroid report low energy
โ€ข Feeling cold is a common symptom of an iodine deficiency
โ€ข Poor memory: A study including over 1,000 adults found that those with higher thyroid hormone levels performed better on learning and memory tests
Adequate amounts of iodine are essential for the health of all the glands in the human body.
The thyroid gland is a small, butterfly shaped gland in the front of your neck. It makes thyroid hormones upon receiving a signal from the thyroid-stimulating hormone.
The thyroid gland uses iodine to make thyroid hormones. However, when your body is low in iodine, it canโ€™t make enough of them.
Iodine may also be interrupted if similar elements are absorbed in the body from the halide chemical group.
Over time the cells work harder to try to make more. This causes the cells to grow and multiply, eventually leading to a goiter.
This isnโ€™t just deficiencyโ€ฆ

Members explored the TP53 gene, known as the guardian of the genome, sharing how mutations or deletions like del 17p can make multiple myeloma harder to treat. Several members shared their personal experiences living with TP53 deletions, with one member noting they have surpassed their 18-month prognosis by over two years without a stem cell transplant, and another staying stable on Darzalex and Pomalyst. The community also flagged a misleading source promoting unproven products, with a member clarifying that there are currently no FDA-approved p53-targeted treatments, though research is ongoing.

I do.have the 17p (TP53) deletion detected and beta-2-microglobulin of 5.56 a double hit of Stage 3 MM, I was given 18 months at diagnosis. I am here more than 2 years later with no SCT and asymptomatic tolerating treatments well. The experts still have a lot to learn about MM.

Beware please! Kaylee Marie in the link above have been found to be giving out scientifically and medically false information. She has been found to expound on appalling health claims in order to sell unproven detox products.
Her background is multi level marketing, supplement sales and self publishing.
She is known for creating medical fear in order to sell products.
As to P53 treatments, there are no FDA approved treatments at the moment, though there is research ongoing

I have 17p/P53 deletion on my fish testing. Only on my myeloma cells. It can make myeloma harder to treat. I have never reached mrd negativity, but I'm stable on Darzalex and Pomalyst at the present time.
