Amy,
I live in Orange County, California, even here it is hard to find a Hematologist/Oncologist who is an MM Specialist. The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation actually has a list of MM Specialists on their website. The MM Specialist will work with your local Hematologist or Oncologist in determining you treatment plan and looking at your records and scans. Your doctor can forward your records to them. It is normal for them to collaborate. When you trust your doctor, it makes all the difference.💕

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation has a Patient Handbook that is very helpful in understanding MM. You can download it or print it. HTTPS://www.themmrf.org
