I tried beet juice today. I like it, high in iron but high in potassium. some people who have kidney problems are not supposed to have potassium or high salt levels.

I am not sure if any drinks kill cancer cells, but they do claim tart cherry juice helps with gout. When I get gout attacks I drink it but can't confirm it even does that. Maybe you have to drink it all the time? But all those drinks you mention seem good for overall health and possibly could help prevent cancer from ever occurring. Once you got it, God help us all.

Which drinks are beneficial for people with myeloma?

While no drink can directly "kill" cancer cells, staying well-hydrated and making healthy beverage choices can support your overall health during myeloma treatment.

The search results don't specifically validate the drinks you've listed for myeloma treatment. What's most important is focusing on:

* Staying hydrated with water
* Avoiding alcohol, which can weaken your immune system and interfere with treatment
* Choosing nonalcoholic alternatives like sparkling water, herbal teas, and mocktails

Some MyMyelomaTeam members have found success with herbal teas and other healthy alternatives when cutting back on alcohol.

Important considerations:

Before adding any special drinks or supplements to your routine, talk with your oncologist. Some beverages can interact with chemotherapy drugs or other medications you're taking. Your treatment team knows your specific situation and can advise what's safe for you.

Focus on proven treatments prescribed by your doctor rather than relying on specific drinks to fight cancer cells. Proper hydration and avoiding alcohol are the most evidence-based beverage recommendations during myeloma treatment.
