OK let me clarify. We have amazing people that have engineered some amazing drugs and procedures with out them i would most certainly be dead. I do still believe that our mind is powerful and it has the ability to heal and harm our body's. In no way was i tring to knock our amazing doctors and scientists researchers and all those patients that gave up their lives to prolong ours. I am 100% grateful for all of them.

Faith not only deflates your ego, but it also turns your need to impress upside down. What matters more is being impressed by the faithfulness of Jesus because he’s the one who fulfills all of God’s promises (2 Cor. 1:20). Even though he was the complete promise-keeper, he suffered the law’s curse as if he was a promise-breaker (Gal. 3:13). But he did it for you, so that his cursing might be transformed into your blessing (Gal. 3:14).
Faith is about resting and receiving the faithfulness of Jesus as your own, his life for yours. When you set aside your resume and open yourself to this gift, you become a living art piece that walks in the good works God has designed for you (Eph. 2:8–10).
As we are reminded of our past experience that teaches us to recognize that this world is but a journey to another world, which is eternal and death is the only bridge that takes one to the hereafter.
We may wish to live forever or worry about our kin and businesses when we are gone but we will all taste death someday. Therefore, we must fear The Lord in our every dealing, have faith in him, be kind to one another and trust his judgement.
A cancer diagnosis is a test of your faith, mental and physical strength. Hearing the diagnosis is often described as a brutal moment. Grieve if you cannot help it. You should cry if it will make you better. Allah said in the Holy Quran that “And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient ones.” (Quran 2:155).
Blaming Him or yourself for your previous deeds, questioning others and losing hope in carrying on with life and treatment will not be beneficial to you. Allah is the Just, the fairest of all judges, and the one who knows all. He has enjoined us to fight for life to the best of our capabilities. You must not lose faith in Him for he is the divine healer.
Filomena, kind of like my case, God gives me the strength and skills to do it myself. I would be a fool to sit around and wait for someone else to do it for me when I am able bodied and able to do things for myself. That is all I ever ask of God to give me the strength and ability to take care of myself for as long as I live, nothing else.
Also faith in yourself and that God is on your side and lives in you is very important.
I agree with you all completely!!! Yes, a positive attitude goes a long way. Lately I have been trying to not let negativity or negative people get to me. Thomas, my husband is very positive. He always sees the brighter side of things. It also helps our caregivers when we stay positive.
