Oh... I wish Acyclovir made me tired- take twice daily. Steroids are my biggest side effect- awake overnight and nap during the day.

Yes, it can. They are listed as a potential side effects though not everyone has those symptoms. They are listed in the attached under "What are some mild side effects of acyclovir".

Kathryn I with you. I have no stamina at all. I get breathless just going up and the stairs. Before being diagnosed I was doing 3 miles a day on my bike and walking a mile. Diagnosed in September of 2024. Did 6 cycles of 4 drug regiment and now on maintenance of Darzalex fas pro once a month, acyclovir 2 pills daily and Dexamethasone every other week. The Dexamethasone keeps me up for 24-36 hours. But I think you are right about the acyclovir could be making me drowsy and also causing balance issues.

It does not appear to make me drowsy; I've been on it for almost a year.
