Santa Ana, CA

Do they live with you? How do you manage? Do you think it’s normal aging when it’s dementia? Are they the designated person to make decisions about your health care, when they are not making good decisions now? Sorry, lots of questions.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member,
My heart goes out to you, hearing about the passing of your mom. I am sitting here crying, looking at her beautiful picture. I’m sure she was as beautiful inside too, considering she has such a wonderful son. When you are in the storm, it’s hard to see the end, but when the end comes, it’s always a shock. May she be with Jesus in Paradise.🙏🏻 Let your faith comfort you. ✝️Be strong in your faith. 🛐Give glory to God that with your own health issues, you were still able to take care of her.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member,
If you get too sick to speak for yourself, your health care designee will make the decision. If that’s a husband who is getting forgetful, that’s trouble.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member,
I’m sorry to hear about your troubles. If your mother-in-law had dementia, she could not legally sign anything. It’s so sad people want to take from others.
