I spoke to my Primary to get my MRI explained to me, this morning. They found something abnormal on my skull ( not brain ), and he'll keep tabs on it.
So now, how do I do a search for this kind of thing?
Hi! I've had 2 lesions on the front of my skull since diagnosis. When I have my yearly skeletal xray done, the size is mentioned. They haven't changed size in 7 years. I wouldn't panic. I don't.
I had many lesions on my head. My MM oncologist consulted with a neurologist and we did meet. Between these two they were confident that my chemo would do the trick. After a few months another MRI was done on my head. When I met with the neurologist he said I wouldn’t be seeing him again. Words I was waiting to hear. The chemo worked for me.
For those of us with bone lesions, don't panic. In some cases chemotherapy can help, if not, somewhere down the line your Dr. may recommend surgery where cement is used to fill in the holes.
Had a seizure after first day of treatment. Found something on my skull .wanted to do a biopsy but my low level of platelets didnt allow. But after several weeks of my treatment for relapsed myeloma the thing has drastically shrunk.mri confirmed.
Am still on treatment though.
Great... one more thing to worry about...
