I sounds like you are not going to a MM Specialist. Not all Oncologists are. Look for a Hematologist/Oncologist whose focus is MM. With your Immunoglobulin tests, the one that is “High” is the one you have. The others tend to be low. There is something called Non-Secretary also. Check out the MMRF website. The more you read about Multiple Myeloma, the more you will be familiar with the terms. This site can give you are list of MM Specialists and a list of the normal tests you should be having. I have Smoldering MM and today had a CT and PET Scan. I’m hoping it does light up with cancer!

I’ve had Smoldering MM for 5 almost 6. Doctor gave me Aranesp because my hemoglobin was below 10 and RBC low. It raised my hemoglobin above 11 late last year and is now just above 11. Hope it holds. I see where you’ve talked about your IgA kappa results and other results which I don’t recognize being in my blood test results.
Mine shows Kappa Light chain and Immunogloblin A, G, & M besides the normal CDC blood test results. I feel I’m not getting the same blood tests as others.

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation has lots of information on its website about the different types of MM, risk markers, and survival rates. International Myeloma Foundation also has information. I have been googling my type of Smoldering MM and I read all the newest articles. The old articles don’t always apply now that there are so many new drugs. There are many on this site who have lived for years and years. Others who have passed. Doctors can give you their best guess and still, it’s up to God in the end.🙏🏻🌈✝️

Can you explain further what defines the different levels of risk that you mention? Age? Stage?

You need to know if you are low risk, medium risk or high risk to know which percentage group you belong in. That being said, God has the last say.
