No it doesn't, that falls in the normal range. My Lambda was 2,500 when I was diagnosed.

A K/L (kappa/lambda) ratio is one of several important tests used in diagnosing multiple myeloma, but this single number alone cannot definitively diagnose the condition. The serum free light chain (SFLC) assay, which measures these ratios, is just one piece of the diagnostic puzzle.

For a multiple myeloma diagnosis, doctors need to see several criteria, including:
- 10% or more abnormal plasma cells in bone marrow
- High levels of abnormal light chains
- Bone lesions visible on MRI
- Signs of organ damage (like high calcium, anemia, or kidney problems) It's important to discuss your complete test results with your healthcare provider. They will need to look at additional factors including your beta-2 microglobulin levels, albumin levels, and results from genetic testing to properly evaluate and stage any potential myeloma diagnosis. Only a comprehensive evaluation of all these factors together can determine if multiple myeloma is present.
