Hi Miriam, I would highly recommend a human hair wig. It will be a long time without hair. If you have long hair it will take even longer. For woman it is for everyone to know that you have cancer. Everyone will approach you and ask about your disease. I bought an expensive fake hair wig and had to buy the human hair one.i got headaches and was sweating like crazy with the plastic wig.I would recommend investing in a healthy look that is including hair for me🥴 in general dressing nicely is hugging and telling yourself that you will manage the disease! Most insurance companies will pay for you to get a wig (prosthetic) but your Primary Care Manager (doctor or your oncologist) can put the paperwork in for you. All women absolutely do look beautiful with shaved heads, earrings, lashes and a cute lip color/gloss. Just my take! 😆
