In remission 2 years 4 months but paraproteins just starting to reappear albeit low. I am doing mindfulness and trying to take things a day at a time.

Hi Bill, One day at a time is my motto, I have found it best to deal with those issues as they come. I have faith in my medical providers that they are doing the best for me and will help me with pain and other problems as they arise. "What will be will be."

I've decided to get a therapist and have joined an anxiety group at my local VA.

I just have to trust my doctor when he says there is always a plan B. I believe in the promises of God. Try to exercise and eat well so I can tolerate these treatments. 💖🥰

Hi Bill, I try to get the gym everyday lift weights and do the elliptical machine which seems to help. When I was first diagnosed I couldn’t walk, I had 8 compression fractures (L 1-5, T8,10,12). Physical therapy and the gym got me out of my wheelchair. I also had a perforated colon and a colostomy which was reversed after 14 months. So after 2 years I’m doing a lot better now. I have some back pain but it’s much better than it was. Initially I was taking morphine 4 times a day now I’m controlling my pain with Advil and sometimes medical marijuana gummies. I try to focus on how I’m doing now and not think too much about the future. I pray and thank God everyday.
