Coming back from UCSF. Had an appointment to receive my 2nd round of baby vaccines, but couldn't be done because my platelets count was to low (under 50 thousand)
My platelets level has been very unstable since after my SCT last March. Have gotten B12 vitamin therapy, go up a little bit, and then down again. Today my main oncologist told me I might have Immune thrombocytopenia. Has anybody has experienced this problem? If so, has it been controlled? And, how

Elizabeth9. OMG..my UCSF doctor is also Alfred Chung. I cried when he took me under his care. But we only see each other on Zoom. Too hard to travel to SF. He tells my oncologist in Pleasant Hill what to do for me. It has worked out well. I still haven't received a SCT. Heard they are rough.

UCSF is GREAT, my oncologist is Dr. Alfred Chung. Got me in to my SCT right after my 6 month induction treatment, and still being my chief Dr.
