Whatever med causes it, it sucks. I can't walk outside at night anymore, and I have to have a nightlight so I don't trip when I get up.....half asleep to , you know....

One member posted that she uses the supplements Choline & Inositol for floaters. She said her floaters went away after a month. I wonder if this supplement would help us?

Definitely have increased eye redness and dryness. Now dealing with my first stye and an eye infection like never before (I've had blepharitis for years). I'm in my 13th week of treatment (DVRd) and only take 12 mg of dex on treatment day now. Was at 20 mg the day of treatment and the day following. Velcade can cause eye issues (I am hoping to lower my dose, as I'm on a very high dose currently).

I am going for a cataract surgery in April. My optometrist surgeon says that steroids like dexamethasone are "fertilizer" for cataracts. I have been taking Dex for approx. 7 years, so I guess I am a strong candidate for developing cataracts. Aside from this event, I have had dry and blurry eyes on a frequent basis. One eye doctor told me that I must sleep with my eyes open into the pillow, and the pillow sheets absorb the tears and dry the eye out. He gave me a gel to apply to my eye lids before I go to sleep and that helped prevent them drying out. Anyway too much info I guess but that's my blurry eye story.
