Do the transplant. Your doctor will prep you on every possible reaction and you may get half of them. It is not that bad. You know you will feel sick but it’s “good” sick. You will bounce back quickly when you get home. But you must be careful. You have no immune system so wear a mask. I’m about 200 days since the ASCT and just got into remission. But I’m getting a second (tandem) transplant next month because I’m high risk. The first so nice we’re doing it twice.

We can guide you here each day. Just let us know what you are doing every day. And make sure you have support at home because you are not allowed to do any dusting or vacuuming! lol

As I have said b4,I believe sct is old technology many side effects some need it twice, and still on matance and at times comes back..new technology is hear in 2024...I myself have had mm since at least march 2020,had 4 lines of treatment, never to bad..I just finished my car t cell therapy..and my tests show no more cancer. This I'm sure is the road to the cure of multiple myeloma. There doing trials now on solid tumers, but I wish all who have had sct the best of luck to eliminate the crap,,aka mm..

Extremely safe. Remission depends on how aggressive your MM is and your risk levels. There’s data on all that.
