The Stem Cell Transplant was not successful on me but the Car.-T-Cell Transplant worked, and was easier for me to go through!
It worked!
Sorry to hear the bad news. I have been fortunate to have good results from dexamethazone and daratumamab as therapy for the last 5 years. I am in partial remission from light chain myeloma. I am not a dr so I would not venture giving advice. That is for you oncologist. FYI I am treated at the greenabaum comprehensive cancer center at zUMMC They are the best. Always best to be treated at a teaching horpital. Best of luck to you both
If you have confidence in your oncologist follow their advice. Not choice a layman should make.
This is a very difficult decision to make. You may find it helpful to seek a few opinions of other MM specialists and then weigh the risk benefit ratio before you decide. Everyone is different and will have varying responses to treatment.
Thanks for your account of Car T. Where did you have it done?
