I had a STC in 2009, was on maintenance Velcade for 10 years. I have a slight M-spike, lamba light chains are slowing climbing. Labs are checked every 90 days. I have great teeth and dental hygiene otherwise. I see my dentist every 6 months. Blisters come and go. Thanks for any info.
I use salt & baking soda (make sure enough salt to taste like ocean water) and rinse and spit right after taking medication. Helps to keep them at bay but when I get them it's hard to get ride of them. Hang in there - hope this helps.
Thanks.
I gargle with hydrogen peroxide to help keep canker sores away not sure if that is the same thing though.
Unfortunately that’s what my dentist, primary care, oncologist and hematologist all say. I have ruled out biting my cheeks in my sleep as I have them in the roof of my mouth and between my gums and teeth also. Just throwing it out to the universe incase anyone might also suffer from them. Thanks.
That is weird and unusual. I have never heard of blood filled blisters in the mouth even with people without MM.
