IGG Lambda Patients Taking Pomalyst
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi I was wondering how many milligrams are you taking of Pomalyst and how long did it take to reach a complete response? So far it’s working but very slowly.

Thanks Joan, my Dr also says he doesn’t want to increase my Pomalyst because it’s keeping the myeloma at bay and I’m tolerating it fairly well so as long a it keeps going in the right direction I’m ok with it!

I've been on Pomalyst 2 mg with Darzalex since before my transplant in 2017. I'm in a very good partial response, still. I'm IgG Lambda as well. So, I'm very thankful my numbers are going down. Hopefully, slow to come down means slow to come up? My labs are good except my immunofixation still shows a faint band in the Lambda region and I'm MRD positive at 74 clonal cells per million. Considering I started out at over 95% clonal cells in my bone marrow, I'm doing well 😉💕

I was taking 4mg along with Darzalex for over two years.

I took Pomalyst, but for only two weeks as it caused me to have a rash, breathing problems and very high ALT and AST numbers on my blood work. It was stopped right away because of the ALT and AST numbers which have to do with liver functions.
