@A MyMyelomaTeam Member, I hear you friend, but when you say, it could be from MM😳😳😳. I can’t grasp it. I have MM. Although I’m in remission, meds continue the same. All help and prayers appreciated as we adjust❤️

Bedebaby,
His Gfer is close to 60 which is okay but he’s just a little low. Creatinine normal range for men is 0.7-1.3. He’s in the range. Normal range for protein is 6.0-8.3 so he’s a little high. Higher than normal may be due to the MM.

All of a sudden my immunoglobulins were out of normal range and there was protein in my urine. My oncologist took me off my maintenance drugs for a week and they are back in normal range. Maintenace is now 21 days on and 7 days off with monthly monitoring.

IgA is one of the immunoglobins, typically providing protections in the respiratory and digestive tracts. My IgA is at 1400; my heme/onc said if it gets over 2000, she'll consider my Smoldering to have become Active. One thing I've read is that, in a fair number of elevated IgA cases, the M-Spike is not elevated as in other types of Myeloma.

I have high IgA.. going up, but still no M Spike.
Are you spilling Proteins in your urine?

It says yr immune system is off. Myeloma is an overproduction of abnormal proteins in the blood. .IgA is a type.
