How Quickly Did Kappa Light Chain Numbers Decrease After Beginning Treatment?
How quickly did your Kappa Light Chain numbers come down from initial diagnosis before treatment, more specifically after how many cycles? Did they keep coming down or did they plateau? My husband's Kappa Light Chain was 998 at diagnosis before treatment began. After one cycle it went to 166.9, and after almost the end of the third cycle it went to 23.9. Presently on RVD 21 day cycle.
Mine went from 126.4 to 7.4 in 4 months with DVRD therapy.
Six months
They went down after my first blood work which was after 4 weeks of Dex, Velcade and Dara. Went into the normal range after 4 months of therapy. So far a year later still in the normal range. I have been on monthly treatments after my 16 weeks of induction therapy.
Mine was 3300 when diagnosed and in remission after 6 months. Stayed in remission for five years on reclined but now I have relapsed six times in the past 16 months
