Thelma, hey. The new studies show that transplant doesn't prolong survival and we have to worry about getting Leukemia later from the high dose Cytoxan and Melphalan. So there you go. The new treatments work pretty well. πŸ˜‰πŸ’•

My husband is doing well on Revlimid & did not have a stem cell transplant due to now being able to collect enough. We didn't even know if we wanted him to go through that & we are at peace with our decision.

My Oncologist wanted me to have stem cell transplant back in 04 when I came out if remission. I opted not to have it done. I am taking Revlimid.
