I have heard that MRI contrast dye Gandalinium (sp?) proliferates and encourages the growth myeloma cells. Please confirm or deny.
For googling purposes, please know it's spelled, "gadolidium".
Used as contrast with MRI sometimes. Historically it had a medical/side effect concern with MM patients who already kidney issues.
Google it in same search with the words, "multiple myeloma" and be prepared to read extensively to educate yourself.
Please know that reasonable doctors may disagree on the safety of using gadolidoum as a contrast dye.
Best!
Steve54. Thank you for such valuable information. It sounds like “the jury is still out”. There is a lot that we still don’t know. Massages and TENS units are still being debated.
Kim, the International Myeloma Foundation has Webinars on their Website. Google Dr. Durie. He does a lot of podcasts on myeloma. The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation has Webinars. The Healthtree Foundation website has learning modules that tell all about myeloma from myeloma Specialists💕
Where do you find the webinars
I've never heard of this. I try to watch as many myeloma Webinars as possible💜
