Greetings from Alaska the statements that I’ve seen from my stem cell collection it was $21,000 and some change a day and I had to have my cells harvested over two daysI would guess the storage is included in that I still have enough stored for one more transplant.

Greetings from Alaska when I went for my SCT I met a woman who was advocating for her husband and Medicare had denied them, she appealed and eventually had to take it to the administrative law judge and was denied again so you’re gonna have to do some research and get ready get ready for a possible fight. Wishing you the best do not get frustrated that’s always there hope it’s a rough road trying to take care of your health and advocate with a different doctors and agencies. I’m sending you positive energy as you embark on this endeavor and I hope you will get a transplant. God bless you

Greetings from Alaska update storage of my cells for possible second transplant cost $440 a year. Just got my bill. The first year must’ve been covered in the cost of the transplant. I’m going on my second year.

My husband had a stem cell transplant in May of 2021. Was told it was covered with Medicare and our supplement insurance. Had it done then Medicare sent a statement that said it wasn't covered.

Thanks for the information. Talk about cost prohibitive. We'll have to think about that one.
