Greetings from Alaska when I went for my SCT I met a woman who was advocating for her husband and Medicare had denied them, she appealed and eventually had to take it to the administrative law judge and was denied again so you’re gonna have to do some research and get ready get ready for a possible fight. I was turned down for SCT in 2008. In the same conversation, I was told I had 'six months, maybe'.In 2010, my insurance, health care provider, Kaiser Permanente, took me off chemo since there were no indications of MM remaining in my blood. I still do annual bloodwork. As of last week, I'm beginning my 27th year cancer-free.
