Has your bone pain lessened since the transplant or is it the same? I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend
My pain was from a lumbar fracture and a tumor pressing on my spinal cord. They stabilized the fracture and radiated the tumor and my pain improved. As I see it the Stem Cell Transplant was a good way to slow the disease progression and therefore avoid progressive symptoms such as bone pain, kidney failure, etc. I am in remission after my SCT and on maintenance Revlimid. With the exception of neuropathy in my hand, I feel great. SCT was not a walk in the park, but for me it was the right decision. I hope I have answered your question. God Bless
I have never had a SCT and currently I only have one pain and that's related to my bludging disk. Some days my lower back stiffness is at a point where I need a pain pill and a muscle relaxer. But overall with MM I have not (thank God)) bone pain. I do get an infusion every 10 to 12 weeks to strengthen my bones. This has been going on since my diagnosis of MM in April 2020.
I am doing well thanks to God for giving me a great oncologist. He's had a treatment plan and we have followed it and IT'S working. I am in the controlled treatment stage which means I take Rx Revelimad 10mg three days a week Monday Wednesday and Friday and my last 13 blood test have resulted in NOT DETECTED.
Amen and Amen Jack
Thank you Klintl can you tell me what stage you were when you were diagnosed 😀 have a good day 🙏
I have not had a SCT because my doctor said so far I am not in need of one yet. However recently I have had some bone pain/discomfort in some bones and I plan to discuss this at my next visit later this month.
Hopefully I will still not need a SCT.
Amen and Amen 🙏 Jack
I pray that God will bless you and keep you safe. Amen and Amen. Jack
