Pain is common, even after achieving remission. Usually caused by compression fractures (even ones that have healed) pressing on nerves.

Always have to have any pain checked out since we can easily have bone issues. Please tell your doc and so it can be evaluated in case it's something that can be helped.

My husband's diagnosis happened because of pain in his chest wall. Imagi g started with xray, then ct, then mri, and finally pet scan. Fortunately, the diagnosis was very early and the first cycle of DRd with Zometa the pain went away. The pet scan after 6 cycles shows the "pathological fracture" and the lytic lesion are gone. There is some residual scarring in the bone that shows increased uptake of the radioactive glucose. It does not hurt anymore. There is hope.

I would get a mri of back They found out I had a compression fracture

Velcade can be given in the abdomen ,it does cause neuropathy as bad as infusions
